Dear Friends and Family

My name is Nayanna Mariah Hill, and I am a proud 16-year-old junior at City of Medicine Academy in Durham, North Carolina. I am the daughter of Eric and Kimberly Gilbert, and I have big dreams for the future: to attend a four-year university, complete medical school and residency, and become a compassionate and dedicated pediatrician.

I am truly honored to have been selected to participate in the 2025 Cotillion Scholarship Program sponsored by the Ivy Community Center Incorporated in partnership with the Alpha Zeta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappа Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. This opportunity holds special meaning for me-my mother and aunts are both members of this esteemed sorority, and I’ve witnessed the power of its sisterhood and the impact of its service firsthand.

The Cotillion Scholarship Program is more than a celebration; it’s a personal growth, cultural enrichment, and scholarship journey. As a debutante, I am striving toward the prestigious title of Cotillion Queen, awarded to the young lady who raises the highest amount of scholarship donations.

Your support can help turn my dreams into reality. Every contribution brings me one step closer to college and one step closer to making a difference in the lives of children as a future pediatrician.

Thank you for believing in me and investing in my future.

Nayanna Mariah Hill

With sincerest thanks,
